Mellow Film Tour Makes Australian Debut in Perth, Bringing the World's Hardest Ascents to Cockburn
Sea to Summit partners with Adrenaline Vault Cockburn to host Australia's first-ever screening of the Mellow Film Tour, alongside a night of live climbing, prizes, and gear giveaways.
For the first time in its history, the Mellow Film Tour is touching down on Australian soil, right here in Perth. On Friday, July 31, awarded WA outdoor gear brand, Sea to Summit, and Adrenaline Vault Cockburn will bring the world’s most credible name in climbing media to WA for one night only. From 4pm, the gym will transform into a full-blown celebration of the sport, with live bouldering, competition climbs, giveaways, and a big-screen screening of the films documenting the hardest ascents on the planet.
It’s a genuine coup for Australia’s climbing community. Mellow has toured the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Africa without ever screening down under, until now. And Perth gets first dibs.
Mellow has become the most talked-about name in climbing media since launching in 2019, founded by four of the sport’s most decorated athletes: Shawn Raboutou, Daniel Woods, Jimmy Webb and Giuliano Cameroni. Built as an athlete-led alternative to influencer-driven content, Mellow documents some of the hardest ascents on the planet with a rawness that has earned it a cult following well beyond the climbing world. The Mellow Film Tour is currently screening across the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Africa, and Perth marks its first stop on Australian soil.

Cost: Free for members or $18 General Admission
Run of show:
- 4:00pm – Doors open. Open climbing and competition climbs, with prizes from Sea to Summit and Black Diamond up for grabs
- 7:00pm – DJ set wraps up; Sea to Summit “Gear Library” opens
- 7:30pm – Competition prize giveaways
- 7:45pm – Tested by Australia screening of Endless Pursuit, hosted by Product Designer Tim Miller, with a Q&A to follow
- 8:00pm – Mellow Film Tour screening
- 10:00pm – Event wrap up
Attendees will also have the chance to win Sea to Summit gear on the night, including eight Drybag packs, plus newly launched Talus 90L and two Meridian 60L packs.
